So what is local seo?

Local seo is basically the strategy of optimising your website to rank highly in local search results. For example if you are an seo company and you are targeting the whole of Google for the search term seo, or search engine optimization, you are going to struggle to get your site listed on the first page. These search terms are highly competetive and are usually only attained by larger companies, that have the budget needed to buy their way onto the first page.
