You want a website that is easy to navigate through. The more confusing, your site is, the less likely it is that the spider will fully crawl and index all your pages. You also want to submit a sitemap for Google, so it can find and index all the pages in your website. Sitemaps are a necessity if you wish to get your all of your website indexed, and included in the search engine results.

Both humans and spiders like to see new content on your website. Make sure to update your content to make sure it is up to date and relevant. If you stop adding new content to your website then your rankings will start to slip.

Blogs are especially useful for adding fresh content to your site. Blog posts are seen as new content, so post in your blog at least once a week to keep your content new. Blog posts do not have to be relevant to your website, but it does help to keep the content somewhat relevant to build up and authority blog.

Make your website for humans not spiders.

This is probably one of the biggest mistakes made by newcomers to internet marketing. They write and organize their website for the search engines to achieve high rankings, but the traffic that comes from those searches does not make a purchase, because the flow of the text. You want to have a website that is easy to read and comprehend, not a site that is made for the spiders to read. Ultimately, your site is viewed by humans who hold the purchasing power. Ensure that your website is easy to read and does not have any misspellings.

5 Tips to Increase Google Search Engine Rankings

Use Meta Tags On Your Pages.

Meta tags, and title tags in particular, are an important part of search engine optimization. The wording should flow smoothly while containing important keywords. This is where the search engines and your target audience get a feel for what your website is about. You want to stress all the important information in your title tag. This is your area for free advertising, so take full advantage of this. Put information like company name, and your targeted keywords that you have chosen for this page. For this to benefit your site fully, every page on your site should have unique title tags.

Quality Content.

Your content is very useful for the search engines and your visitors in determining whether or not your website is relevant to your topic. You want quality, keyword rich content. You do not want to stuff your keywords, but place them sporadically throughout your site. Keyword stuffing is a black hat SEO technique that will get you banned from the search engines. Make sure that your content flows smoothly and rolls off the tongue easily. Remember your site visitors, not search engines, have the ultimate decision to purchase your product or service. Write your content first for your audience and then add keywords later.

Acquire Quality Back Links.

Links are a valuable tool for gaining top search engine rankings. Links are viewed as a vote from one site to another, so the more links to your site, the more popular the search engines will see your site as being. Higher quality links from authority websites are weighed more heavily when ranking your site. So you want to acquire links from reputable websites that are popular. You want to get links that are related to your line of work to increase rankings. Make sure all your links are related in one way or another to your website. If not then your site will be penalized in the rankings.

Number of Backlinks.

Recently, Google began to crack down on link farm sites (sites where you buy links) by penalizing them in the search engine rankings. Avoid link farms or buying links from non authority sites as they will only do more harm than good. Remember, it's not the quantity of links you have, but the quality of those links. Make sure your links appear natural, not like they have been paid for. You must have something of quality to offer others so they will link to your site and increase your search engine rankings.

Keyword Relevant Domain Name.

Before you purchase a domain name you should look for a URL that has relevant keywords to your company. You want to ensure that your domain name has some relevancy to your website. Your sub domains should not be long and full of strange characters and symbols. This will only confuse the search engines and your site visitors. The simple domain that has your keyword specific to your page is great for the search engines and your site visitors.

I hope you find these tips useful. Please feel free to link to this post if you feel it could benefit someone else. We will be posting 5 more tips next week so stay tuned.

And, if they choose to do it half-heartedly or only occasionally, then it really isn’t a very successful to help improve their search engine rankings. The problem with using a manual feed submitter, or using an individual RSS submitter even, is that it is very time consuming to deal with on a consistent basis. Organic SEO Or PPC Pay Per Click

There are two major techniques in use today that are used for Internet marketing. These are Natural Organic SEO and the other one is Pay per click advertising.

Let’s take a look at what these concepts are before we move any further.

Pay per click advertising: Pay per click advertising is a technique that works by taking a specified sum of money for listing your advertisement on any of the major or minor search engines. These sponsored links usually appear at the top, bottom or, as in the case of Google, the right hand side of the search engine results page.

When you sign up for a pay per click program the Pay per click search engines require that you pay a pre specified amount to have your advertisement listed on the major search engines. You would also be required to bid on keywords that are related to your business. For example, if you are a T-shirt manufacturer then it would be in your favor to have your link displayed whenever someone searches for shirts or even apparel or maybe even casual wear.

Once you have finalized your bid and the deal is done you don’t need to pay any money upfront. The best part about pay per click advertising is that the bid amount is to be paid by the advertiser whenever a visitor clicks on the advertisement and no money needs to be paid up front. Hence, this is also known as a "cost per click" program. The terms Pay per click and cost per click are often used interchangeably to describe Pay per Click web advertising. Although Pay per click refers to the payment method and Cost per click refers to the cost factor involved in each payment.

Natural Organic SEO: Natural Search engine optimization is defined as the process of redirecting traffic volumes to a specific website through a search engine like Google by using natural or organic or algorithmic techniques.

More often than not what happens is that the faster or earlier a site is displayed in the search results the more the higher it will be ranked thereby increasing greatly the probability of a searcher visiting that site.

Search Engine Optimization not only makes use of keywords, although that is the most popular method of conducting Search engine optimization processes, it can also carry out different kinds of searches including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical searches.

As a marketing strategy utilized primarily for increasing a site's ranking, Search Engine Optimization will take into account how search algorithms work and what exactly do people search for. Search Engine Optimization efforts would involve a number of things such as a site's coding, presentation, and structure, in addition to fixing problems that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a given site. Trying to Compare Natural SEO and Pay per click advertising is like trying to compare your right hand and your left hand and asking which one is better? Each has its own importance and is usually advisable to use a combination of the two techniques for optimum results.

The major advantage that Pay per click advertising offers is that it gives faster results as compared to the Natural search engine optimization techniques.

Ideally a combination of both works best. Happy marketing.
